Kalmar Nyckel Documentary Earns 2018 Emmy Nomination!
KALMAR NYCKEL: The Forgotten Journey, the feature documentary that we co-produced with Glass Entertainment Group, was nominated for a 2018 Mid-Atlantic Emmy. This is a testament to its exciting narrative, beautiful cinematography, and rich history. We are honored to be included in the highly prestigious and competitive Documentary category -- up against six other films. We share our gratitude & congratulations with the entire cast, crew and everyone associated with the film. The Emmy's will be held on October 13, 2018. Stay tuned for more details!
LECTURE "Saving the Ship That Saved the Union" - Thursday, Nov 1, 6:00pm
William Hoffman, Director of Conservation and Chief Conservator, USS Monitor Center and The Mariners' Museum, will present a behind-the-scenes look at America's famous Civil War ironclad, the ship that saved the Union fleet in the 1862 Battle of Hampton Roads, and changed the future of naval warfare. 6:00pm Reception followed by 7:00pm Lecture and Q&A.
