Kalmar Nyckel Foundation is pleased to announce “A Gathering of
Tall Ships – 2006” to be held July 2-4, 2006 at the Kalmar Nyckel Shipyard on
the
Kalmar Nyckel Foundation will be requesting a donation of $5.00 a person for anyone over 12 years of age. Children accompanied by an adult 12 and under will be admitted free. This entrance fee entitles the person to tour the shipyard and enjoy a deck tours of all the ships and participate in shipyard activities. An additional fee will be charged for cruising.
The crab feast to be held, July 2, 2006, from
6:00pm-9:00pm will welcome Captains and crews from the visiting vessels to
the
Captain David Hiott, master of Kalmar Nyckel, said “it isn’t often that local residents will get to see over 300 years of sailing history………
