All Welcome! Festival at the Fort - Sunday, April 28, 12-4pm!
Celebrate spring on Wilmington's historic riverfront on Sunday, April 28, 12 - 4pm at Kalmar Nyckel's Copeland Maritime Center, Fort Christina Park and Old Swedes Historical Site. Tours of KALMAR NYCKEL, and the historic sites (all within two-blocks), children's games, live music, colonial reenactments, craftspeople, food trucks and more! Free admission and shuttle bus. Fees for some activities. See link for details.
Tour the Copeland Maritime Center! Deck Tours on Saturdays in April
Visit our Maritime Center year round to see our Watercraft of the World exhibit of 73 model ships, a 3/4-scale mode of the KALMAR NYCKEL ship deck, Finnish log cabin and learn about the science of sailing, Kalmar, Sweden and Wilmington's train and ship-building history. Special Spring ship tours ($10/adult, $5/youth age 5-17) on Saturdays in April from 10am - 4pm. Maritime Center winter hours: Monday-Friday: 1:30pm - 4:30pm, Saturdays 10am - 4pm. Closed on Sundays.
PIRATES are COMING! Wilmington Pirate Festival Saturday, June 29, 10am - 4pm
Ahoy! Wilmington Pirate Festival at the Kalmar Nyckel Shipyard and Fort Christina Park returns with new and exciting pirate-themed activities, live entertainment and more for families and pirates of all ages.
