The Kalmar Nyckel Foundation will work with school districts and tour organizers on COVID policies as needed.
Volunteers
We have a vibrant volunteer program and welcome new members each year.
- All KNF staff and volunteers are encouraged to stay up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccinations per CDC recommendations.
- Ship’s staff (employees of the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation) and live aboard volunteers staying more than three months are required to be fully vaccinated plus have at least one COVID-19 booster.
