There's always something to do this year at our Copeland Maritime Center! Visit us for  for SECOND SATURDAYS with hands-on history crafts and activities (included with your Admission). Take a Winter ship tour on Saturdays (inclement weather and heavy ship maintenance may cancel for safety). Don’t miss OPENING DAY of Sailing Season with free museum admission, free afternoon ship tours (12:00-4:00pm) and more to be announced soon. Save the date for Captain Kidd’s Pirate Day on Saturday, May 23 from 12:00-4:00pm. Arrgh!

2nd Saturday: Poems in a Bottle Month on Saturday, April 11

How did sailors have fun on long ocean voyages? Take a hands-on poetry adventure and write a mad-lib-style sea chantey that's wacky & fun. Then decorate a bottle & place your chantey inside — just like sailors at sea! Celebrate National Poetry Month at the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation’s Maritime Center.

Winter Deck Tours - Saturday Mornings through April 25. Weather dependent

Tour the Tall Ship of Delaware on Saturdays, 10:00am-4:00pm during winter maintenance season under our “greenhouse cover." AND, take a self-guided tour of our Maritime Center. Museum admission is $5/adult; $3/ages 5-12.

Ship Tours are an additional $5 and $3 (same age groups). Under 3 is free.

Tall Ship Opening Day with Noramco: Free Admission on Saturday, May 2

Celebrate the opening of the Tall Ship of Delaware's sailing season in Wilmington, DE. The Copeland Maritime Center will open with free admisison for self-guided tours. Free ship tours from 12:00-4:00pm. More details coming soon!

Ahoy mateys! Our 6th annual day of pirate fun arrives early on Memorial Day weekend to kick off the summer. Don’t miss our ship plus pirate-themed activities, cannon demonstrations, crafts, and more.
