Celebrate Halloween at the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation Shipyard with a maritime twist on spooky fun for all ages at our 8th annual Halloween Ghost Ship. Bring the whole family in costume and enjoy Kalmar Nyckel, Tall Ship of Delaware deck tours, ghost stories and music, pumpkin painting, crafts, and much more. Activities from 12:00-4:00pm

Plan ahead and enjoy our 8th annual family friendly maritime-themed Halloween event! Activities will include:

  • FREE Parking and Admission! Fees for some activities.
  • Indoors: Halloween Ghost Ship Tours inside our Copeland Maritime Center with spooky fun for all ages on our 3/4-scale model of our ship’s deck and museum exhibits.
  • Kalmar Nyckel Tall Ship pf Delaware tours, our 141-foot long ship with professional officers and volunteer crew in costume.
  • Children’s musician Bill Currier
  • Silly spooky storyteller Bill Wood
  • Halloween-themed crafts and outdoor pumpkin painting. Wear your favorite costume for touring and a costume parade.
  • Face painting for a fee.
  • Food trucks and water available for purchase.
