Volunteer Open House
We invite anyone interested in becoming a volunteer at the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation to attend a free two-hour Volunteer Open House to learn more. Please download and share our flyer.
Learn to sail and maintain the Kalmar Nyckel, become an educator, offer tours, and help at festivals and events through our volunteer program. At our two-hour Open Houses, we will share information about our crew training program, the latest volunteer openings, and provide a tour of the Tall Ship of Delaware and our Copeland Maritime Center. Please plan to attend the entire session in order to hear a formal presentation and experience a guided ship tour starting at 10:00am.
