Loads of fun at our 6th annual day with Tall Ship of Delaware ship tours, sword school, black smith demonstrations, pirate stories, songs, crafts, and much more. Face painting, food trucks. Free admission & parking. Fees for some activities. Updated Map to follow.
Join us for a family-friendly event inspired by Delaware’s infamous Captain Kidd on our shipyard campus and inside our Copeland Maritime Center. Dress as your favorite pirate if you dare!
Activities are listed in the Campus Map and Legend below. in the event of rain, activities will be moved indoors or under cover outdoors.
- Kalmar Nyckel ship tours from 12:30-4:00pm
- Cannon Demonstrations plus Cannon Drills for kids
- Pirate Story teller, Pirate Songs, Pirate “Science"
- “Sword School” and Blacksmith Demonstations
- Pirate Crafts and Treasure Hunts
- Face Painting and Food Trucks: Kona Ice, Donut NV and The Strand
